Note: Binisaya refers to the how the Visayan language is used by the people in the Visayas Region of the Philippines. The Visayan language includes dialects like Cebuano (spoken by people from Cebu Province), Binol-anon (spoken by people from Bohol), Waray (spoken by people from Eastern Samar, Northern Samar, Samar, Leyte, Southern Leyte, Biliran, and Sorsogon), and Hiligaynon (spoken by people from Iloilo, Guimaras, and Panay). The entries here are derived from several references, but the translation is based on my personal experience and use of the terms. The aim of this blog is to document the Binisaya terms. The entries of this blog may be used freely for ethical and legal purpose.
